Accessibility
Last updated: October 2026
Legal News Report wants everyone to be able to read and use our site, including people who use assistive technologies.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we review the site as we add new pages and features.
What we do
- Use text colors with sufficient contrast against their backgrounds
- Structure pages with clear headings so screen readers can navigate them
- Make menus, links, search, and forms usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images
- Label form fields and show clear error messages
- Design pages that work on phones and at 200% zoom without losing content
- Avoid content that flashes or moves automatically
Known limitations
Some content, such as linked documents from courts, government agencies, or settlement administrators, is produced by third parties and may not fully meet accessibility standards. When we link to such documents, we try to summarize the key information in the article itself.
Feedback
If you have trouble accessing any part of our site, please contact us and tell us:
- The page or article link
- What you were trying to do
- The device, browser, or assistive technology you were using
We will make reasonable efforts to provide the information in another way and to fix the problem.
